Considered a visionary by many in the publishing world, Thomas Manx saw the need for small Animals to share their experience in the world and, 15 years after the establishment of zoocracy, he founded Tall Tail Books as the “Small Animal’s Publisher.” Even while the company struggled, the Manx held firm, eventually reaping the fruits of success with such books as “Once Around the Block with Foster” and “When All Good Things Begin with B.” Thomas Manx is survived by his mate, Melinda, and his twelve children.
